Reblogged this on vic briggs and commented:
    If I were a painter
My knife’s edge would glimmer with life
And lost in a canvass of white
    Its spectre would carve
    Only you.
    A palette of shadows:
Burnt umber will blend with your soul,
Through darkness will seek earthly light
    Enthral in my chase
    And subdue
    Time’s quickening tempo.

Thank you so much for visiting my art blog and taking the time to comment on my portrait. It’s funny that you should show up there since only yesterday I watched this video of yours demonstrating your skills with using the palette knife. Your compliment is very encouraging and kind. Thank you. You can be sure that I will visit your blog YouTube channel in the future. Thank you for being a virtual mentor!
